eLearning, mobile learning and online assessments

The SHA seeks to support employer organisations to take advantage of technology enhanced learning, where this delivers benefits for learners and for organisations.

We facilitate the South Central eLearning Content Club, a trust-led collaborative of trusts who work together to commission, procure or develop eLearning programmes and to share skills and expertise. We also support CPD opportunities to develop online assessments to support implementation of the NHS South Central Statutory and Mandatory Training Framework.

We have commissioned research into mobile learning for the NHS and commissioned the development of mobile learning apps.

We maintain SHA-wide subscription to BMJ Learning which includes hundreds of accredited, peer-reviewed learning modules for doctors and other  healthcare professionals.
